Remote peering means peering without a physical presence at the local exchange point. This can be done because reseller partners have already connected their network to BNIX. The reseller takes care of the transport, the peering port on the BNIX platform and all contractual obligations. As a remote participant you have access to all BNIX services, including the public peering LAN, BNIX route server and access to the BNIX portal. First line customer care support is provided by the reseller.

The Route Server simplifies peering and avoids having to manage lateral peering sessions. BNIX participants can therefore peer with other networks in a single BGP session to our route server.

Given the higher efficiency and simpler management of our new BNIX platform we reduced our pricing for 10G and 100G ports. Set up fees, prices for private VLANs and remote peering with LU-CIX remain unchanged. Below you can find our current pricing.
